The King William County Library System is seeking a capable developer to support its digital content and web delivery efforts in Aurora, CO. The role focuses on coding, testing, and documenting software while ensuring accessibility and content quality.

You will collaborate with a team to translate designs into working programs, convert media for the web, and help maintain and improve digital systems and forms. A strong foundation in PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in programming, web development, or database work.
• Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript is required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing software, hardware, and system requirements.
• Develop, test, implement, and document software code.
• Translate designs and specifications into functioning programs.
• Prepare test data, validate functionality, and fix errors.
• Coordinate with developers, testers, and reviewers on modifications.
• Convert media and materials for web delivery and accessibility compliance.
• Maintain programming documentation and support system improvements.
