Job summary

Library Systems & Services LLC is seeking an experienced Web Developer to support the federal information services website and infrastructure. You will maintain web apps, CMSs, hosting, and related services while collaborating with government teams and library staff to improve functionality, reliability, and user experience.

You will work with Drupal 9+, Koha, Linux, Apache, and cloud services to design accessible, responsive online experiences and to ensure cybersecurity and compliance with

Qualifications

• Proficient coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with responsive design.
• Experience supporting Drupal and other CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508.
• Systems expertise in Linux, Apache, AWS and database environments.
• Experience with web APIs, design of UX/ui, and multimedia content.
• Ability to diagnose outages and ensure website security and reliability.
• Security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and redesign the federal website and apps.
• Support Drupal and other CMS platforms and hosting environments.
• Maintain web servers, hosting and related network services.
• Support cloud infra, Linux, Apache, and database environments.
• Develop website code, templates, APIs, and user interfaces.
• Design responsive, accessible web experiences.
• Troubleshoot outages, performance issues, and system errors.
• Recommend upgrades, enhancements, and corrective actions.
• Ensure Section 508 accessibility compliance across content.
• Develop accessible web content and multimedia resources.
• Collaborate with government IT and library personnel.
• Provide system documentation, training, and support.
