Peraton is seeking Systems Engineers across Architecture & Requirements to support system-level engineering for a complex platform environment onsite in Chantilly, VA. You will drive requirements analysis, architecture development, interface definition, and MBSE activities, bridging software, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
Approximately 6–10 years of experience in systems engineering, requirements engineering, architecture, integration, or related disciplines.
BS degree with 6 years of experience; additional 4 years may substitute for degree.
Demonstrated experience with requirements analysis, system interfaces, architecture, and technical documentation.
Ability to work across multiple technical disciplines, including software, cloud, infrastructure, networking, security, and data.
Experience supporting system-level integration and technical reviews.
Experience with requirements traceability, technical planning, or change-impact analysis.
Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze and decompose technical objectives into clear, actionable engineering requirements.
Develop and maintain traceability between requirements, architecture, interfaces, implementation, and verification evidence.
Coordinate requirements interpretation with platform owners, engineering teams, and customer stakeholders.
Prepare for and support architecture, requirements, design, and technical review activities.
Collaborate across software, cloud, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, data, and platform engineering disciplines.
