Job summary

RTX seeks a Software Development Intern to design, implement, and execute tests for Patriot software in Tewksbury, MA. You will work with software developers, system architects, and product leads to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree, knowledge of testing methodologies, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance; active clearance preferred. Onsite work and occasional light travel are expected.

Qualifications

Knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression, performance).
Experience in Validation, Verification, Requirements Analysis and/or Testing.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Review Software Requirements to ensure clarity and testability.
Write clear test objectives that guide testing.
Design test cases (manual and automated) based on objectives.
Execute test cases in on-site lab environment.
Analyze test results and document discrepancies; data-intensive analysis.
Collaborate with test engineers and developers for integrated software solutions.
