Delta Solutions & Strategies seeks a Software Engineer at our Corporate Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO to develop and maintain software for high-fidelity Missile Warning training. You will integrate systems into the JLVC HLA environment using C++ and C# and work with RTI-s and FOM.

We value problem-solving and analytical skills, with 5+ years of experience and DoD environment familiarity. Active Secret clearance is required with ability to obtain TS clearance; multiple benefits are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in DoD environments preferred.
• Active Secret Clearance required; TS clearance potential.

Responsibilities

• Integrate software into JLVC HLA environment using RTI-s and FOM with C++/C#.
• Collaborate in a small team on development and integration of C# and C++ applications.
• Apply agile development practices including unit tests, code reviews, CI, and design docs.
• Develop scalable software with attention to maintainability and architecture compliance.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate status, risks, and estimates.
• Prepare technical documentation such as architecture and data flow diagrams.
