Job summary

VTG is seeking a Software Developer to join a technical development program supporting an Access Management initiative. You will work with a small team of developers, software engineers, and data engineers to build and maintain a big IAM platform.

The role emphasizes Java development, RESTful API creation, and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and deployment to EC2. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required along with a BS degree and 16+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• BS degree and 16+ years of relevant experience
• 4+ years' experience in Agile software development
• Must have significant experience with Java, Shell/Batch Scripting, Hibernate, AWS, GitHub, Jenkins, and Rundeck

Responsibilities

• Work with an industry leading identity and access management software platform expanded for complex enterprises.
• Integrate with and operate on a COTS identity access management system.
• Develop Java applications within the IAM platform framework.
• Create RESTful APIs.
• Establish and maintain infrastructure with CI/CD practices.
• Write scripts to install and configure code for deployment to EC2 instances.
• Participate in Agile software development processes.
• Support system O&M activities, identify and fix bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and DevOps activities.
