Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to design, implement, and maintain Java/Spring Boot backends. You will automate deployments on AWS ECS, integrate with external auth providers, and build data workflows using Lambda, S3 and SQS.

Responsibilities include testing, code reviews, and monitoring production systems. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is required.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot; AWS including S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager; Schema validation (JSON/XML).
• Containers; SQL; Linux CLI; experience deploying internet-facing systems in AWS cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain web application backends written in Java and Spring Boot.
• Automate deployment processes for containerized apps on AWS ECS.
• Integrate web apps with external authentication providers using SAML and OAuth.
• Develop AWS data workflows using Lambda, S3, SQS and other services.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews; monitor production apps.
