Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Security+ Certification.
• 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering, automation, DevOps, or related roles.
• Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and admin tasks.
• Experience with the ELK Stack: Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation solutions in Linux environments.
• Create and enhance Bash scripts to automate system administration and log gathering.
• Develop and maintain job orchestration tools for data flows.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Kibana.
• Support Elasticsearch data ingestion, indexing, and search optimization.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with admins, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Assist with log analysis, troubleshooting, and operational reporting.
• Document automation processes and configurations.
• Participate in system testing, deployment, and sustainment activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for monitoring and automation.
