Job summary

BCT LLC is seeking a Scrum Coach to support a government program by coaching Agile teams, facilitating Scrum and SAFe ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement across the program. The role collaborates with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, development teams, and program leadership; requires an active Scrum certification and a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph completed within the past five years.

Qualifications

• Current Scrum certification (CSM/PSM/SAFe SM or equivalent).
• Experience as Scrum Coach, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar leadership role.
• Experience with Product Owners in Agile/SAFe ceremonies.
• Experience facilitating sprint reviews and PI planning.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile, Lean, SAFe.
• Experience coaching cross-functional government/technical teams.
• Ability to facilitate meetings with technical teams and leadership.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach Agile teams and stakeholders on Scrum, SAFe, and Agile best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to facilitate ceremonies (Agile/SAFe).
• Support planning and execution of daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and PI events.
• Assist Product Owners with backlog development, prioritization, refinement, and readiness.
• Ensure user stories, features, acceptance criteria, and program objectives align with mission requirements.
• Facilitate communication among Agile teams, leadership, and stakeholders.
• Identify and help resolve impediments, risks, dependencies, and process challenges.
• Coach on Agile estimation, capacity planning, velocity tracking, and delivery forecasting.
• Support tracking of Program Increment objectives, team commitments, milestones, and deliverables.
• Promote transparent, accountable, collaborative, continuous improvement culture.
