Key Responsibilities
Data Restore & Backup Operations
- Restore files, user profiles, and mailboxes using backup applications such as NetBackup, Avamar, and Commvault.
- Work in a Data Center environment to handle tape movement and management to support data restores.
- Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Disaster Recovery & Continuity
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical systems and services.
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and business continuity planning.
Customer Support & File Management
- Assist customers with file management, profile standards, and email organization.
- Apply knowledge of profile and permission structures to support user access and security.
- Manage ticket resolution in alignment with SLAs, ensuring timely and effective issue handling.
Documentation, Reporting & Collaboration
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Create reports on system performance, security incidents, and other key metrics.
- Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless delivery of IT services.
- Provide recommendations for system improvements based on analysis and industry best practices.
Work Schedule
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
