RealmOne is seeking a Level 2 Network Engineer to support government missions from its Maryland offices. The role focuses on end-to-end network design, implementation, and maintenance, including LAN/WAN practices, VPNs, firewalls, and QoS. Will work with senior engineers to meet DoD-style standards and ISO requirements.

The candidate must hold an active DoD-style IAT Level I certification and possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s with substantial experience. A polygraph may be required.

Formación

• Master's degree in CS/Info Assurance or related discipline with 6 years of network engineering experience.
• Or Bachelor's degree with 8 years of network engineering experience.
• IAT level I baseline DoD certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.
• Conduct data captures to obtain network performance information.
• Minimize network latency and maximize data throughput through design analysis and monitoring tools.
• Provide input to the design of the organization's network and mission architecture.
• Design, integrate, configure, deploy, test, and maintain network devices and interfaces.
• Configure and optimize the network to connect front-end and back-end components.
• Gather data to specify performance and interface requirements.
• Implement network solutions including VPNs, firewalls, NAT, VoIP, and encryption as appropriate.
• Maintain network diagrams and accreditations.
• Oversee support to all network equipment.
• Develop designs to meet partner requirements.
• Guide junior Network Engineers.

Educación

Master's degree in CS/Info Assurance or related discipline

Bachelor's degree in System/Computer Science/Info Systems or related discipline with 8 years of experience
