Qualifications

• Master's degree with six years of network engineering experience.
• In lieu of a Master’s, a Bachelor’s degree plus eight years of experience.
• Alternative: 12 years of experience with industry certifications (Arista, Cisco, or Juniper).

Responsibilities

• Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.
• Conduct data captures to obtain network performance information.
• Minimize latency and maximize throughput through design analysis and monitoring tools.
• Provide input to the design of the organization’s network and mission architecture.
• Design, integrate, configure, deploy, test and maintain network devices and methodologies.
• Configure and optimize the network to connect front-end and back-end components.
• Gather data to specify system and interface requirements.
• Implement network solutions for servers, including load-balancing, VPNs, firewalls, VoIP, GRE, IPSec, MoIP, NAT.
• Configure and maintain network diagrams and accreditations.
• Oversee support to all network equipment.
• Develop designs of the network and mission architecture to meet partner requirements.
• Manage tasks and provide guidance to junior Network Engineers.
• Integrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements.
• Work with Arista, SafeNet, NetApp, and Visio.
