Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (e.g., science or engineering).
• Experience with listed laboratory equipment and testing techniques.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate materials based on conformance to specifications and performance requirements.
• Develop and validate materials, properties, and processes for existing and new products.
• Provide resolution to technical, operational, and supplier problems related to materials.
• Conduct hands-on testing of materials using laboratory techniques.
• Follow protocols and develop/ fabricate test plans and setups.
• Review material documentation and assessments against specifications.
• Engage with subject matter experts to understand material usage.
• Engage with suppliers.
