Job summary

DTEX is seeking a Support Engineer to join the Technical Support organization, supporting enterprise and U.S. public sector customers in complex, mission-critical environments.

You will troubleshoot, deploy, and support Linux-based distributed systems across on‑premises and cloud setups while engaging customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams. In addition to strong Linux and data-platform experience (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch), the role requires active TS clearance and travel within

Qualifications

• Active United States Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
• 7+ years of troubleshooting, deployment, and customer-facing support experience.
• Advanced Linux system administration and troubleshooting for enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting OpenSearch/Elasticsearch and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain production deployments across on‑premises and cloud.
• Systematically troubleshoot complex issues in Linux environments and DTEX components.
• Reproduce issues with Eng teams to identify defects and workarounds.
• Author runbooks, deployment guides, and operational best practices.
• Troubleshoot endpoint deployments across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Guide customers through DTEX functionality during troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Engineering, and Sales teams.
• Maintain a test environment to validate fixes and new capabilities.
