Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician in Virginia to troubleshoot, maintain, and operate complex HVAC systems for critical facilities.

The role requires hands-on management of chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and BAS with adherence to safety and security standards. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED with 6+ years of HVAC experience, TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, and a valid Journeyman license or VMET certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of HVAC experience.
• Must pass security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Must hold VA/MD/DC Journeyman License or VMET certification.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect HVAC equipment including chillers and boilers.
• Operate and monitor building automation systems (BAS).
• Respond to emergencies and protect occupants and property.
• Mentor junior HVAC technicians.
• Record faults and maintenance activities.
