Job summary

Raytheon in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join the Effector Subsystems Products department. The role supports Parts Engineering, Components Engineering and Applications Engineering across proposal, SDD, LRIP, production and support phases, ensuring design integrity and supplier alignment.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with obsolescence management methodologies.
• Experience with Parts Standardization in design processes.
• Experience developing and managing BOMs for development and production.

Responsibilities

• Interface with designers, ECAD, program management and other disciplines on a day-to-day basis.
• Determine SOW and customer component requirements.
• Determine environmental/characteristic requirements for components.
• Provide guidance on parts selection and technology insertion within constraints.
• Coordinate with suppliers to develop component risk and verification data.
• Create component verification data packages and support IPTs.
