Job summary

Agile Defense seeks a MSS Developer to build dashboards, data pipelines, and platform tooling for mission‑critical analytics. You will work on Palantir Foundry/Gotham and MSS-based workflows, delivering operator‑facing solutions and data‑driven insights for DoD missions.

You must possess a Secret clearance, be able to work on site in a SCIF, and collaborate with mission leaders to translate needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or quantitative field.
• 4+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• 1.5+ years hands-on with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, AIP, or MSS.
• Experience building dashboards, applications, or pipelines for operational end users.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; JavaScript/TypeScript familiarity.
• Active US government security clearance (Secret or higher).
• Prior Palantir FDE/FDSE or comparable role.
• Hands-on MSS experience with AIP agent or LLM workflows.
• Familiarity with DoD data environments and classified networks.
• Must be able to work onsite in a SCIF.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows.
• Create intuitive, self-service capabilities for operators to explore data independently.
• Build automated workflows delivering timely insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across MSS deliverables.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and Palantir stack.
• Integrate external data sources into a well-modeled data foundation.
• Surface model outputs in operationally useful ways for mission leaders.
• Create data visualizations and interactive tools for drilling into data and scenarios.
