Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Data Analyst to develop and maintain dashboards and analytics for military logistics, leveraging Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Databricks. The role requires strong SQL and Python skills and experience with PySpark/Spark SQL within cloud data environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of programming experience and an active DoD clearance. Collaboration with data engineers and stakeholders is essential to ensure data quality and reliable pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of professional programming experience (Java, C++, Python, R).
• Hands-on experience building production dashboards in Power BI (DAX/Power Query) and Qlik Sense.
• Experience with Databricks (PySpark/Spark SQL) and cloud data environments.
• Direct experience utilizing a war data platform for data extraction, querying, and integration.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex joins, data aggregation and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data wrangling, automation, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using Power BI and Qlik Sense.
• Conduct exploratory and statistical analysis on complex datasets.
• Translate complex military logistics and operational requirements into analytics KPIs.
• Clean, wrangle, and organize complex datasets using SQL and Python.
• Build and streamline ETL/ELT pipelines and data models in Databricks and cloud data repositories.
• Ingest, transform, and integrate multi-source datasets across enterprise environments via a war data platform.
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and pipeline reliability.
