Job summary

Alutiiq, LLC is seeking a Janitorial Services employee to maintain a clean, safe environment in Federal facilities. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, follow security protocols, and work either as part of a team or independently to meet cleanliness standards.

This role supports office, warehouse, and field operations, may require hours outside regular schedule, and requires a High School Diploma with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience providing janitorial support.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Basic communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchen areas, and other common spaces.
• Remove trash, recycle materials, and replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Work cooperatively with team members or independently to complete assigned tasks.
• Follow all safety and security protocols, including those associated with Secret clearance requirements.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Monitor facility for cleanliness, sanitation, and safety issues, reporting concerns as necessary.
