Job summary

FTI Defense - Frontier Technology Inc. is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to operate and secure cloud and Linux-based systems for the Digital Bloodhound program.

You will automate infrastructure with Ansible, monitor health, and coordinate with security and engineering teams to maintain reliability and security while supporting build and deployment workflows. The role requires 4+ years in similar operations, hands-on RHEL and cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and an active Top Secret

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in systems/cloud administration or DevOps with hands-on ops responsibility.
• Hands-on Ansible automation and playbooks development.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Git-based workflows and version control; CI/CD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot cloud infra and RHEL systems for reliability and security.
• Monitor health, respond to alerts, and resolve availability and performance issues.
• Develop Ansible playbooks and automation to deploy changes and reduce manual work.
• Use Bash and Python for automation of routine tasks.
• Manage access controls following security policies and least privilege.
• Investigate incidents, coordinate with security and engineering teams.
• Maintain infrastructure docs, runbooks, and change-management records.
• Collaborate with development teams on build/test/deploy workflows.
