Job summary

Frontier Technology Inc. is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to support the Digital Bloodhound program. You will operate and secure cloud and Linux systems, troubleshoot infrastructure, and develop automation to improve reliability.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, including AWS GovCloud, and must reside in or relocate to Colorado Springs, CO with an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of relevant systems administration, cloud administration, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Ansible automation and playbooks.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Git-based repositories, branching, version control, and collaborative workflows.
• Experience monitoring system health and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
• Proficient in Linux CLI, Bash, and Python scripting.
• Ability to manage system access in alignment with security policies.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and RHEL systems.
• Monitor cloud instances and respond to operational and security alerts.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation.
• Use shell scripting and Python to automate tasks.
• Manage identity and access with least-privilege policies.
• Investigate and resolve cloud tickets and perform root cause analysis.
• Support security incident investigations and remediation.
• Maintain infrastructure and automation code in Git repositories.
• Follow change-management processes for infrastructure updates.
• Create and maintain configuration docs and runbooks.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot infra issues.
