Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Chief Data/AI Engineer to oversee enterprise data engineering and operations, ensuring delivery of core data functions across enclaves. The role will drive the EDEOP plan, govern the data lifecycle, and mentor teams across governance, tooling, and operations.

Qualified candidates will lead data platform improvements, manage risks, and align data solutions with program objectives while staying current with new data technologies. US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for all levels.
• Senior roles require 8+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data engineering and data operations across enterprise.
• Coordinate data engineering, data operations, data tooling and data governance teams.
• Establish standards and best practices for data engineering; lead technical reviews.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for data platform evolution and establish metrics.
• Mentor junior data engineers and foster knowledge sharing across data disciplines.
