Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States seeks an Advanced Programs Manager to lead DOD and federal energy system initiatives, oversee facilities, and drive lifecycle management of high-stakes programs. You will interact with government agencies and maintain security clearances to grow this classified and advanced technology portfolio.

You will coordinate across business units, shape roadmaps for power systems, energy storage, and cyber security, and lead early-stage development from concept to product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Systems Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years in technical program management or defense engineering environments.
• 5+ years leading multidisciplinary programs from concept through execution.
• 5+ years with U.S. government customers (DOD/DOE/DARPA/ARPA-E) or similar.
• 5+ years in power systems, energy storage, or cyber security.
• Active U.S. security clearance at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead strategy to expand the DOD portfolio in advanced power systems.
• Oversee lifecycle of advanced energy programs and manage facilities.
• Build and manage a pipeline of government opportunities and collaborations.
• Interface with classified government collaborations while maintaining security protocols.
• Coordinate across GE Vernova units to integrate advanced power technologies.
• Drive roadmaps for data center power systems and smart grid applications.
• Lead early-stage technology development from concept to product introduction.
