Job summary

SAP NS2 is seeking an experienced Security Automation Engineer to architect, configure, and maintain automation tooling for the Enterprise Security team. You will design IaC, deploy microservice architectures across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, and enforce Kubernetes security best practices.

The role requires hands-on experience with cloud security tooling, logging pipelines, and CI/CD pipelines. U.S. citizenship and the ability to work on-site are expected for this position.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or 10+ years of equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ experience administering Kubernetes clusters on cloud platforms
• 3+ years’ experience building scalable security utilities and tools
• 3+ years’ experience in host, network, and application security
• 5+ years’ experience with web protocols and Linux/Unix tools and architecture
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience building and administering AWS workloads

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, or Ansible
• Design, implement, and manage microservice system architectures on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Implement Kubernetes security best practices, including IAM integration, secrets management, and network policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container orchestration and cloud networking across providers
• Architect, develop, and maintain distributed logging pipelines using AWS Lambda, Kinesis, Vector, and Splunk
• Automating builds and configurations of security tooling infrastructure using CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, Concourse, and GitHub Actions
