Job summary

Cheekwood Estate & Gardens in Nashville is seeking a part-time Security Attendant to protect artworks and ensure visitor safety in a beautiful garden and museum setting.

The role requires a Tennessee unarmed security license, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods in all weather. Daytime, evening, and weekend shifts are available, with membership and reciprocal admission benefits for employees.

Qualifications

• Valid State of Tennessee Security Unarmed Guard License.
• Must maintain a valid unarmed security license from the State of Tennessee and a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to multi-task and endure extended periods of standing and walking in all weather.
• Daytime, evening, and weekend shifts are available.
• Security level experience in Entertainment or Hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Protect artworks and report issues promptly to the Security Manager.
• Maintain a clean uniform and professional appearance.
• Provide positive interactions with the public and offer directions.
• Be the first responder to incidents and coordinate with Security Base.
• Other duties as assigned.
