Job summary

Axis Pipe and Tube LLC is seeking a Security Attendant to monitor plant entrances, supervise access, and report daily surveillance activity. The role requires experience in report writing and strong Excel skills to utilize Genetek Security Software for security operations.

Located in Bryan, TX, the position supports a safe, compliant workplace with opportunities to contribute to security initiatives and emergency response readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience with report writing is preferred.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• First Aid/BLS trained; self-defense optional.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Team player with good communication.
• Optional bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Submit reports of suspicious actions.
• Complete assignments from Supervisor as needed.

Security Attendant

Human Resources Full Time Clerical Bryan, TX, US

Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly

Brief Summary:

The Security Attendant monitors and reports the entrants and exits of the plant. They monitor camera footage and ensure security of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and patrol premises regularly.
• Daily use of Microsoft Excel and Genetek Security Software
• Visually monitor property entrance.
• Authorize entrance of people and vehicles
• Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings.
• Secure all exits and doors.
• Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity
• Submit reports of every suspicious action
• Responsible for completing any assignments given by Supervisor, even those assignments not specifically listed in this job description.

Qualifications:

• Some experience with report writing.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Outstanding surveillance and observation skills
• Trained in First Aid/BLS(Basic Life Support) and self-defense-optional
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

• Must be able to walk, sit, or stand for several hours at a time. Push, pull, or lift 50+ pounds at a time.
• Use desk phone, cell phone, and radio
• Computer Skills (Microsoft excel and word, scheduling, emailing)
• Be able to read maps and evacuation routes

Physical Requirements:

• The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
