Job summary

Scale seeks a Technical Assurance Lead to drive assurance programs across Scale's public sector and commercial business in the US. This hands-on role reports to the Head of Global Assurance and collaborates with product, engineering, security, operations, and legal to deliver region-specific authorizations, certifications, and customer assurance outcomes.

You will manage audits and control implementations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in security compliance, technology audit, GRC, cloud security, or related roles.
• Experience implementing frameworks like FedRAMP, DoD SRG, NIST 800-53/171/ systems security.
• Ability to translate business risk into clear leadership communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead public sector compliance programs (FedRAMP HIGH, DoD SRG IL4/IL5/IL6, NIST 800-53/800-171, CMMC, RMF).
• Oversee risk management and A&A processes including evidence collection and POAM tracking.
• Drive cross‑functional control implementation with product, engineering, security, operations, legal, and people ops.
