Job summary

The Marcus Corporation’s Hilton Milwaukee City Center is seeking a part-time Loss Prevention/Security Associate in Milwaukee, WI. The role supports guest safety, asset protection, and incident response on a third shift; pay is $19.50 per hour with benefits and discounts for associates.

Responsibilities include patrolling, dispatch operations, CCTV monitoring, and assisting guests and staff. Candidates should have security experience or related hospitality background and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of security and law enforcement practices preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Prior hospitality, guest service and/or security experience preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, staff and the public.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must work well independently and in a team, under pressure.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises on foot and ensure safety for guests and associates while protecting property and assets.
• Operate a dispatch center with responsibilities for key control, fire alarm monitoring, CCTV monitoring, and emergency calls for service.
• Perform professional security, safety, and loss prevention practices.
• Investigate situations and write reports as necessary.
• Meet, greet, and assist guests and associates in a professional manner.
• Witness cash drops, monitor cameras, and perform lost and found duties.
• Transport guests in company vehicles to airports, offices and entertainment venues.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

As a part time Loss Prevention/Security Associate you play an integral part in creating an environment that is safe and comfortable for our guests and associates, as well as detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other unlawful behavior and deescalating conflict.

What you will be doing:

What we are looking for:
