Job summary

The Hilton Milwaukee City Center, part of The Marcus Corporation, is seeking a part-time Café Server to deliver friendly food and beverage service to hotel guests. You will greet guests, input orders, serve with a smile, and maintain cleanliness and service standards while upholding liquor regulations where applicable.

Shifts are mornings with weekends and holidays available; pay rate is $7.46/hour. This role offers meal perks, employee discounts, free parking, and opportunities to grow within

Qualifications

• Prior food, beverage, cash handling and hospitality experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of service standards and etiquette.
• Proficient in English for menu comprehension and guest communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain specials & promotions.
• Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system.
• Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments; follow liquor regulations.
• Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return.
• Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments.
• Maintain self-banking procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

What will you be doing?

• Basic knowledge of food & beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Learn table settings, service ware, and menu items.
• Proficient in English for menu comprehension, recording orders, and guest communication.
• Recall and promote menu items.
• Maintain professional demeanor and clean uniform.
