Job summary

Titan Security Group in Burns Harbor, Indiana is hiring an Assistant Security Manager. The role oversees gates, officers, and details, and supports the Site Manager when needed.

A degree in Criminal Justice or related field and at least 2 years of supervisory/industrial security experience are preferred, with TWIC eligibility. • Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.
• Preferred Certifications: CPP certification (ASIS), OSHA-10.
• Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods; lift, push, pull 50 lbs; patrol interior/exterior; work in weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum, run training/drills, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Fill in for the Site Manager or open Shift Security Captain positions.
• Trained to cover any position under supervision.
• Provide detailed information on vehicle inspections and inventories.
• Review traffic enforcement and tickets; summarize patrol activities.
• Audit building inspections and summarize security systems and equipment impairments.
• Outline summaries of safety concerns and training activities.
• Report KPI summaries and other duties as assigned.

Titan Security is currently hiring an Assistant Account Manager to work at a location in Burns Harbor, Indiana.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Security Manager

include but are no limited to:

• Oversee security gates, dock officers, patrol officers, and special details.
• Develop curriculum, run training/drills, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Fill in for the Site Manager (in their absence) or open Shift Security Captain positions.
• Trained to cover any position under their supervision.
• Provide detailed information on vehicle inspections
• Provide both departmental vehicle inventories and general departmental inventories.
• Review traffic enforcement, specifically including a summary of written tickets.
• Provide a summary of patrol activities.
• Conduct and report on an audit of building inspections.
• Provide a summary of active security systems and any equipment impairments.
• Outline a summary of safety concerns.
• Document a summary of training activities alongside a drill summary.
• Report a summary of gate paperwork discrepancies.
• Provide a summary of generated Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Benefits:

Education and/or Experience: Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Management or related field and/or equivalent experience/education preferred. Minimum of 2 of Supervisor Experience and Industrial Security experience. Previous MARSEC, NRC and Industrial facility security experience preferred.

Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.

Preferred Certifications: CPP certification (ASIS), OSHA-10.

Physical Demands:The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A list of these job duties is inclusive of, but not limited to: candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.; be able to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facility; be able to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather.
