Job description

This position serves as the Security Assistant for Police Service at the VA Manchester Healthcare System, primarily responsible for monitoring physical security equipment and systems.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 07/02/2025.

To meet the minimum qualifications, you must meet one of the following:

• Specialized Experience: One (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 level in the Federal service, involving the use of computer and automation systems, data entry, report preparation, database management, maintaining confidentiality, and effective communication skills. Applicants must clearly indicate the duties and hours spent in each position.
• Education: Successfully completed four years of education above high school level in an accredited institution. Transcripts are required for verification.
• Combination: Possess a mix of post-high school education and experience that meet the total qualification requirements. Education beyond 60 semester hours is creditable.
