Job description

In this position, you will serve as a Security Assistant providing support to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer's Field-Based Operations Unit facility in Biloxi, MS, ensuring the security of staff, operations, assets, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of personnel, industrial, and physical security program requirements sufficient to provide administrative and operational support for security functions at the facility.

To qualify for this Security Assistant position at the IC-09 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-08 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate each of the following:

• Using computer automation systems to enter data and/or compile reports; and
• Maintaining restricted or confidential information to process security-related documentation; and
• Reviewing and evaluating documents for authenticity and/or completeness.
