Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Security Officer CPO Armed Patrol Readiness to protect clients at a financial institution. You will conduct routine armed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and complete daily activity reports with professionalism.

Qualifications

• CPO is required.
• Armed Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; drug screen as permitted.

• Licensing requirements may apply; driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas including interior, exterior, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and required records.

Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, including the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter, while remaining alert to unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO is required.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
