Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol CPO in Charlotte, NC. You will protect clients at financial institutions, conduct armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism.

In this role you will provide excellent customer service, follow site protocols, and complete required reports. A valid CPO certification is required, with an Armed Guard Card preferred and a clean background check.

Qualifications

• CPO certification is required.
• Armed Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally per site protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Maintain patrol and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thu 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO certification is required.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
