Job summary

Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a Security Area Manager for our Camp Hill, PA distribution center. You will oversee daily security operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with security, EHS, and quality policies to protect assets and people.

The role requires leadership, planning, and collaboration with Corporate Risk Management, with a focus on continuous improvement and safety performance for the team.

The Security Area Manager is responsible for achieving key organizational goals through the efficient use of staff and systems on a day-to-day operational basis. In this role, you will have full responsibility for implementing and executing all programs, policies, and systems within the Security department at our Camp Hill, PA distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of security, ensuring operational efficiencies through Loss Prevention
• Provide effective supervision of team members and assist them with ongoing development
• Demonstrate knowledge of security and all support enhancements, including yard management
• Learn and retain a comprehensive understanding of all operating systems and processes
• Open and conduct investigations as needed; lead any EHS event investigation to closure
• Review and approve all team members' time entries in timekeeping and production management systems, making any corrections as needed within designated time frames
• Own safety performance for all direct reports, and ensure officers' compliance with departmental procedures and expectations
• Participate in programs/committees that are proactive in preventing environmental and health, quality, and team engagement occurrences
• Monitor and ensure compliance of Company Security Standard, EHS, quality, and employee relations guidelines
• Recommend any improvements of physical security controls and procedures
• Serve as a liaison with Corporate Risk Management and Loss Prevention

Qualifications

• Demonstrated people leadership and employee development experience
• Operational background - distribution center/warehouse environment a plus
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at different levels within the organization
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, especially Outlook and Excel
• Strong reasoning, analytical, and organizational capabilities
• Adaptability to new working conditions in a fast-paced environment and able to work a flexible schedule including increased peak season hours as needed
• Associate’s degree or higher in Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent years of work-related experience (preferred)

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $70,000 - $90,000 / yr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the following:
