Job Title – Security Architect (Workday Implementation)

Location – Remote within the continental United States

Role Type – Contract (at least 6 months)

Must Have Skills:

• Extensive security architecture experience
• Architecture experience spanning multiple cybersecurity domains (e.g., network security)
• Experience architecting the implementation of multiple Workday modules, ideally the entire suite
• Recent hands-on architecture experience, with the ability to engage deeply in technical discussions

Responsibilities and Job Details:

• Serve as the principal security architect for a major Workday implementation project
• Design and oversee security architecture across multiple cybersecurity domains
• Develop and guide the security strategy specific to Workday platform implementations
• Identify and address risks associated with Workday implementation, including architecture, roles, and operational nuances
• Engage directly with technical teams to ensure security best practices are embedded throughout the project lifecycle
• Operate independently in a principal-level role, proactively driving initiatives without daily direction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Workday security architecture with overall cybersecurity goals
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project stakeholders and junior team members
• Support the creation and enforcement of security policies and procedures related to Workday
• Stay informed on emerging security threats and Workday platform updates to ensure robust security posture
• Communicate security architecture recommendations effectively to leadership and implementation teams
