Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Maris Grove in Glen Mills is seeking a Supervisor of Security and Emergency Services to oversee gatehouse operations, patrols, access control, and visitor/contractor registration, ensuring procedural compliance and a safe, welcoming community.

You will lead daily security activities, monitor safety programs, assist in hiring and training, manage schedules and timesheets, and partner with the SES Manager to update emergency plans while guiding staff to deliver reliable,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Emergency Responder role.
• Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Security of the community through gatehouse, patrols, access control, visitor/contractor registration, key management, and related programs.
• Monitor safety programs including department safety inspections, workplace accident responses, hazard communication, respiratory mask fit testing, and other needs.
• Partner with SES Manager to update and maintain Emergency Preparedness Plans.
• Ensure completion of Incident Reports, daily shift reports, and responses to calls for service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and coaching of employees.
• Establish schedules, review timesheets, and complete performance evaluations.
• Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct and indirect reports.

Join our team as the Supervisor of Security and Emergency Services for our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring program and procedural compliance, overseeing quality assurance and improvement, conducting investigations, providing training, and offering administrative support.

Compensation: Starts at $27.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

How you will make an impact
