Job summary

Rocket Lab in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Security Analyst Intern to join our on-site team for a minimum 12-week program starting May or June 2027. You’ll work with mentors to apply security concepts, perform risk assessments, and support physical and program security across our operations.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an associates, bachelor's, master's or doctorate in criminal justice, national security or related field, with a 3.0 GPA and 3+ months of experience, and will receive a relocation

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master's or doctorate degree program in field of criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or other personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor and security team to apply knowledge and grow technically and professionally
• Work with a fast-paced group to apply industry concepts to real challenges
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates

Education

Associate/Bachelor/Master/PhD in criminal justice, national security, emergency management or related field

GPA 3.0
