Job description

Candidates MUST be WI residents or willing to relocate to WI at their own expense prior to starting. This position can work 100% remotely (within the state of WI).

This Security Analyst position is part of a dynamic and versatile team that concentrates on Access Control Management (ACM), applying ACM best practices in account provisioning, password resets, and other account management processes within a multi-domain organization. The position reports to the BITS Section Manager or Supervisor overseeing the Access and Identity Management Support team (AIMS) within the Technical Operations and Support Section (TOSS) of the Bureau of Information Technology Services (BITS).

• The team is responsible for provisioning and de-provisioning account and data permissions for agency customers and partners requiring access to various technology environments and data.
• The role involves collaborating with team members, project staff, and stakeholders to improve and integrate AIMS processes.
• Assist in developing and updating documentation related to access management procedures.

Technologies involved include, but are not limited to, Active Directory, Entra (Azure) Active Directory, Dynamics 365, Cherwell ticketing system, and standard office tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Required skills include strong customer service, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills. The candidate should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, switch between multiple tasks, work well within a team, and generate or update documentation.

Rotating 24x7 on-call availability is required. Candidates must provide three references, including two who have supervised them.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Active Directory Users and Computers utility
• 5+ years of experience with Access Control Management and applying ACM best practices
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure) cloud services
• 5+ years of experience with change management controls in CRM ticketing systems like Cherwell or ServiceNow
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong business communication skills
• Experience with Cayosoft account provisioning
• Experience managing Salesforce user profiles
• Knowledge of provisioning Microsoft O365 licenses
