Job description

Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired only in NC, AZ, NJ, VA.

Remote with ability to travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, Phoenix, Arizona or Morristown, New Jersey, on an as needed basis.

This position supports Information Security and Cyber Threat management programs within the Bank at a complex level of ability. Evaluates the Bank’s networks and systems to identify technical security gaps or deficiencies within the Identity and Access Management principles. Develops process improvements and technical solutions that address the identified gaps or deficiencies. Facilitates the defense of the organization’s information security and technological architecture through ongoing reporting and escalation of emerging threats. Assists management with special projects and oversees less experienced associates in the work group.


Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth cybersecurity and access management assessments for large-scale IT systems.
  • Work with IT Business partners to identify and implement identity and access management processes in compliance with cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines based on industry and regulatory standards.
  • Provide end to end support to IT business partners to ensure effective adoption and execution of all required identity and access management controls, including privileged identity management, account security, and execution of periodic access reviews.
  • Assist in providing oversight and development to less senior team members to support the same initiative.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Information Security OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Information Security.

Preferred Skill(s):

  • IT or Cybersecurity experience in a heavily regulatory organization, preferably banking.
  • An understanding of NIST and COBIT frameworks.
  • General understanding of application security management hosted on various platforms (i.e. Mainframe, Windows, Linux/Unix, Oracle, Windows, DB2, Cloud Technologies, etc).
  • Basic programming, data analytics and reporting skills desired but not required.
