Summit Utilities, Inc. in Arkansas seeks a Security Analyst I to protect IT and OT systems.

The hybrid role supports monitoring, investigation, and response to security events across IT and ICS environments, reporting to Information Security leadership and coordinating with SCADA, IT, and Gas Control teams to maintain safety and reliability. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field, 2–5 years in security operations, and knowledge of NIST CSF, C2M2, TSA

Qualifikationen

• Solid knowledge of information security principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with log and event analysis, including writing SIEM queries.
• Experience with packet capture analysis and investigation protocols.
• Knowledge of EDR, NGFW, and proxy security controls.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tools.
• Knowledge of OT assets, industrial protocols, and Purdue model.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443, C2M2, TSA directives, NERC CIP.
• Understanding of IAM concepts including MFA, SSO, least privilege.
• Scripting in PowerShell or Python is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain security to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative across IT, OT, and business teams; multitasking under deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Monitor security alerts and log data across IT and OT environments; investigate Tier-2 events.
• Document, classify, and track security incidents; draft incident reports.
• Write and tune detection queries and correlation rules.
• Perform forensic analysis and evidence collection; conduct legal holds when required.
• Coordinate with SCADA Analysts and Gas Controllers on OT alerts and responses.
• Review OT network monitoring and support security visibility of RTU/PLC networks.
• Assist with security updates and hardening; align with change windows.
• Run vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation with owners.
• Prepare control evidence for TSA/C2M2/NERC CIP alignment and audits.
• Maintain documentation for security systems and procedures.
• Participate in tabletop exercises and business continuity planning.
• Deliver security awareness and phishing simulations.
• Assist in onboarding new analysts and on-call rotations.
