Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst I to protect IT and OT environments across our Arkansas operations.

Based in Little Rock, Fort Smith, or Fayetteville, this hybrid role partners with IT, SCADA, and Gas Control teams to monitor for threats, investigate incidents, and drive remediation from triage through closure. Reporting to the Director of Information Security, you will develop detection queries, perform forensics, align controls with TSA directives and NERC CIP, and help

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, IT, or related field; OT experience may substitute.
• 2–5 years in security operations or related IT role; OT/ICS experience preferred.
• Experience with SCADA/ICS security in gas, pipeline, or energy sectors is preferred.
• Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GIAC GCIH, or GSEC are preferred; GICSP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IT and OT security alerts and log data; investigate Tier-2 events from triage to resolution.
• Document, classify, and track incidents; draft reports and escalate major incidents as needed.
• Write and tune detection queries and correlation rules to improve alerts.
• Perform forensic analysis and evidence collection on suspicious devices.
• Coordinate with SCADA, OT, and Gas Control teams for safe OT operations.
• Support vulnerability scans and remediation tracking with owners.
