Job summary

All Points Security Co Inc in Downingtown, PA is seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and commercial security systems. In this hands-on role, you'll be at the forefront of keeping homes and businesses safe by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security alarm systems.

You will read blueprints, perform inspections, and coordinate with monitoring centers while delivering strong customer service and ensuring proper system connectivity.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, programming, and configuring residential and commercial alarm systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• PA Alarm License or ability to obtain one preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and configure residential and commercial alarm and security systems
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and testing of alarm equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
• Run and terminate low-voltage wiring for alarm panels, sensors, and keypads
• Communicate with customers to explain system operation and answer technical questions
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and inspection reports accurately
• Coordinate with monitoring centers and ensure proper system connectivity
