Responsibilities

We are a quickly growing small business looking for the right person to join the organization for more than just a job. Limited on-call shifts or rotations are required, and we will never expect you to sell our services unless you want to of course. You just solve the problem and provide superior customer service, and we'll continue to get the work! Applicants should be well-organized and outstanding communicators who are comfortable working directly with clients. A clean, professional appearance is necessary (imagine who you'd want going into your parent’s or grandparent’s homes for repairs). Technicians with defined goals and ambitions for working in the field and growing their careers are the right kind of candidates for this position. Education/Certification

• Valid driver's license; No DUI convictions or license suspensions within five years.


• Verification of US Citizen or approval to work in the US.


• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Job Summary/Qualifications Skills

• Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and operating principles.


• Experience working in all types of job locations, from homes, to businesses, manufacturing facilities and beyond.


• Must be a self-starter.


• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and written reference material.


• Ability to install, repair or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switches, boxes, conduits, feeders, line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts.


• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.


• Ability to perform necessary electrical mathematical calculations.


• Ability to diagnose and resolve a wide variety of system problems.


• Ability to use hand and power tools.


• Respect for safety needs and proper safety protocols.

Physical/Mental Requirements And Work Conditions

Continuous walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, reaching, carrying, and heavy lifting (50-75 lbs.). Exposure to all weather elements. Must be able to work at varying heights using man lifts, ladders, or other equipment. Frequent travel around Mid-Michigan and the Thumb area. Must enjoy work!
