Job summary
B’s Electric LLC is a growing family business in Michigan seeking electricians who take pride in their work and deliver top-notch customer service. Applicants must be licensed in Michigan or eligible to test for JW, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills required.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and operating principles.
- Must be familiar with NEC codes.
- Experience in residential, commercial and light industrial spaces with 120/240v, 120/208v, 277/480v systems.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and written reference material.
- Ability to install, repair or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switches, boxes, conduits, feeders, and line assemblies, lighting, and other electrical parts.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to perform necessary electrical calculations.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Respect for safety needs and proper safety protocols.
- Must have a teamwork attitude.
- Light cost estimation experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows and mobile OS
- Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Handle electrical installations and customer service for clients as part of a growing team.
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies on every site visit.
- Assist in reading blueprints and translating them into on-site work.
- Support future cost estimation and project scope as the company grows.

Limited on-call shifts or rotations are required, and we will never expect you to sell our services unless you want to of course. You just handle the electrical installation and superior customer service, and we'll continue to get the work! Clean, professional appearance is necessary (imagine who you'd want going into your parent’s or grandparent’s homes for repairs). - State of Michigan Journeyman/Journeywoman’s License.
- 4th or 5th year apprentices about to test out for their JW are welcome to apply, we'd love to help you succeed in this great achievement.

Job Type: Full-time, limited on-call duties, work schedule is generally M-F
Continuous walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, reaching, carrying and heavy lifting (50-75 lbs.). Exposure to all weather elements. Must be able to work at varying heights using man lifts, ladders or other equipment. Frequent travel around Mid-Michigan and the Thumb area. Must enjoy work! We all have to be out there making a living; we might as well make the best of it! Let's laugh and have a great time!
