Job summary

AGS, an Akima company, is seeking a Guard II in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role focuses on access control, visitor processing, badge inventories, and incident escalation within a federal security environment.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, routing security communications, maintaining badge records, and generating weekly security reports. A Secret Clearance and reliable driving record are required for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to function in all types of weather environments.
• Must be able to take general directions, both oral and written.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a Secret Clearance, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Answers calls, greets customers, responds to security emails, and routes calls to Security Team Lead.
• Inventories and tracks badges at start and end of each tour.
• Uses Microsoft Office to perform admin duties for Security Division.
• Processes visitors to RD-TSX facility and validates badge security clearance.
• Verifies IDs and processes badges using DISS and related databases.
• Maintains badge logs and prepares security reports and memorandums as required.
