Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Access Authorization in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will verify credentials, manage badge access, monitor entry points, and assist visitors and employees while upholding a secure environment at a logistics site.

The role requires a background in security, strong customer service, and comfortable use of technology. This is a full-time, night-shift position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Age requirement: 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check required by law and licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain access-related records.
• Screen and direct deliveries, vendors, and transportation personnel per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate security concerns per site procedure.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
