Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Security & Access Control Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and low-voltage systems on commercial projects in the Charleston, Beaufort, and Bluffton area. This contract-to-hire role offers a Monday-Thursday 4x10 schedule, onsite work, and opportunities for overtime.

You will pull and route low-voltage cabling, install cameras and door hardware, read blueprints, and troubleshoot security systems on schools, offices, and government facilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of installation experience in a commercial environment
• Ability to work from ladders and lifts
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaufort, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
