Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract security systems technician for an onsite role in Jacksonville, FL. You will install, wire, and program access control, CCTV, and door hardware, reading blueprints and system drawings to deliver precise, on-site deployments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Excellent understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation (J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support).
• Very familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted.
• Excellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
