Job summary

Adamas Building Services is seeking an exceptional Security Officer to protect luxury residential properties in Parsippany, NJ. You will patrol, monitor surveillance, enforce building policies, and respond to emergencies with professionalism and discretion.

The position offers overnight and evening shifts at $18.00/hour with weekly pay. A valid SORA license, reliable transportation, and strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Observing conditions that may create security concerns and reporting to management.
• Responding to emergencies and alarms and contacting appropriate emergency services as needed.
• Becoming familiar with residents, visitors, and guests and monitoring for unauthorized persons.
• Performing required patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Enforcing facility policies within the role's limits.
• Investigating incidents and preparing reports on accidents or suspicious activities.
• Maintaining a professional demeanor when assisting residents, visitors, and guests.
• Monitoring alarms and systems.

Adamas Building Services is looking for an exceptional Security Officer with experience working in luxury residential communities. Our company is a leading expert in the Residential Services market with properties throughout New Jersey, New York and Florida. We have currently have an opening in our Parsippany, NJ location.

Pay: $18.00 / Hour

Schedule: See Below

Overnight Shifts

• Guard A — Full-Time (Overnight)
  • Days: Monday – Thursday
  • Hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Total: 36 hours/week
• Guard B — Part-Time (Overnight Weekend)
  • Days: Friday – Sunday
  • Hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Total: 27 hours/week

Evening Shifts

• Guard C — Part-Time (Weekday Evening)
  • Days: Monday – Thursday
  • Hours: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Total: 16 hours/week
• Guard D — Part-Time (Weekend Evening)
  • Days: Friday – Sunday
  • Hours: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Total: 12 hours/week

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Observing any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards and reporting to management
• Responding to emergency situations and/or alarms and contact appropriate emergency services as needed
• Becoming familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic - know the residents, visitors, and guests and monitor for the presence of unauthorized persons.
• Performing required patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Knowing the facility / building policies and procedures; enforce them within the limits of the position
• Investigating and preparing reports on accidents, suspicious activities and incidents as well as following established emergency procedures
• Maintaining a professional demeanor when assisting residents, visitors, and guests
• Monitoring alarms and systems
